April is “National Stress Awareness Month,” and Dr. Holland and Nurse Coach Chelsey think it is a very appropriate time to discuss the effects of stress and some things we can all do to manage it better! Stress is something we all deal with throughout our lives as humans… none of us are immune. We can’t usually control what happens to us, but we can learn, or re-learn, how to cope with those things. One of the main ways being something called “limbic system retraining.” The more we understand about this, the more excited and hopeful we are about it being a missing link in the journey of some (maybe many) towards optimal heath!
