ALLY

Clinic Manager

Starting from the age of 12, I knew I wanted to be involved in people’s health journey. I took that calling and got my Bachelors of Science in Allied Health Science from College of the Ozarks. I originally thought I would pursue physical therapy after college, but then I found my passion for nutrition. After moving to Northwest Arkansas in 2021, I started my journey to get my masters degree. I am currently completing my masters in integrative nutrition at Bastyr University.  At Holland Health nutrition education is so vital to wellness success on how to use food as a resource and not a burden.

I started as the Patient Care Coordinator at Holland Health in June of 2022 and now the Clinic Manager.  It been an honor to be a part of so many individuals’ health journey so far.  Through helping others, it has impacted my own functional health journey in finding the “root” of the problems I face towards wellness and addressing those rather than just my symptoms.

My favorite thing about functional medicine is how we are able to help the whole person here. From medical needs, lifestyle changes, coaching support, and community we are more than just a doctors office. I am truly honored to be a part of Holland Health and the change we are making in Arkansas. I am getting married in October 2024 to my fiance Garrett. We have 3 fur babies together, Dua, Sully, and Pip. Pip is the office Mascot for Holland Health!

 Lead Nurse

I have been a nurse for over nine years. The majority of my nursing career has been spent in emergency medicine. This allowed me to travel throughout the United States and learn techniques from a multitude of different providers.  I first learned about functional medicine while working with Dr. Holland in the emergency department and was immediately intrigued. I am furthering my education in functional medicine through a collaborative program from the Integrative Nurse Coach Academy and the Institute of Functional Medicine to provide the best care for the patients of Holland Health.

My favorite thing about working in functional medicine is the relationship I get to build with patients.  It is an honor to get to watch our patients progress to optimal health and to get to be a part of their journey.

Scarlett and her husband Jacob have two fur babies, Oliver and Surf. She loves the outdoors, is an avid traveler, and is a bookworm. As a former Texan, she is a huge Dallas Cowboys fanatic!

 Blog Writer / Collaborator

From a very young age, I knew I was called to devote my life to caring for people! I always wanted to be a nurse, teacher or counselor. I ended up going the nursing route and have gained so much experience over the past 15 years of my career in the areas of med-surg, labor & delivery, pediatrics and functional medicine.

I first heard about functional medicine about 4 years ago, when I was really struggling with multiple health problems. The root-based approach helped me uncover the “why” behind what I was going through and how it was all connected, and I was then able to begin the process of healing. I was so excited about what I was learning that I couldn’t stop thinking or talking about it! Since then, I have gotten some practical experience working as a nurse in a functional medicine clinic and I’ve taken a course through the Institute of Functional Medicine to keep growing in my understanding and application of it. Then last year, I completed my nursing coaching certification through the Integrative Nurse Coach Academy.

It is an honor for me to work with people of all ages who want to get to the root of their health issues and would like to feel empowered to discover more about themselves and ways to heal, so they can ultimately have a better quality of life. I desire for my clients to know they are seen and heard by someone who has a great deal of empathy for them and also the expertise to help them on their unique journey towards health and wellness.
